These usually last a year and can help you gain entry onto a bachelor's program, or prepare you for entry-level employment. At bachelor's level, digital media is usually offered as a BA, but some universities offer a BSc qualification. There is very little difference between the two, but a BSc program may include more technical modules. Most bachelor's last three or four years, depending on where you study and if the program includes a sandwich year. If you already have a bachelor's in digital media or a related subject, you can expand your knowledge and skills through a postgraduate program. You can study a master's in digital media as an MA or MSc over one or two years, and these will usually involve some teaching and research. If you're looking to achieve a doctorate, you can study a PhD program in digital media or a related subject. These can take four or five years to complete and are entirely based on your own unique research. Digital media programs teach you a range of skills, so you'll be taught through a mixture of lectures, seminars and practical workshops.

Here's another fictional example of what that could look like within your own documentation: Hiring process Performance improvement process Termination process Recruiting guidelines Equal opportunity employment rules Interview expenses Relocation expenses Pre-employment tests Instructions for internal applicants Tip 5 Use collaborative document software Where should you create these benefits guides and FAQ sheets? Should you put them in a PDF? Include them in your employee handbook? Relegate them to a folder on your shared drive that nobody ever accesses them? Chisel them into a paperweight? Your best bet is to use document software that allows for collaboration, comments, and real-time updates. Imagine that Kai has a question about how the process for tuition reimbursement works. He could track that answer down through numerous conversations and emails, or he could simply ask his question by leaving a comment directly in the document where your team can see it and immediately respond.

Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo - A Voyage of Exploration Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo led the first European expedition that explored what is now the west coast of the United States. Cabrillo departed from the port of Navidad, Mexico on June 27, 1542. Three months later he arrived at "a very good enclosed port, " which is known today as San Diego Bay. Historians believe he anchored his flagship, the San Salvador, on Point Loma's east shore near the land that becomes Cabrillo National Monument. Cabrillo later died during the expedition, but his crew continued on, possibly as far north as Oregon, before thrashing winter storms forced them back to Mexico. Cabrillo National Monument, established in 1913, remembers Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo's voyage of exploration. It was the first contact between the coastal California Indigenous tribes, like the Kumeyaay, and men from Europe. Though the San Salvador stayed only six days in San Diego harbor, this journey and future Spanish journeys to the area would shape southern California's complex history.
